General situation:
A disturbance is sweeping eastwards along the northern edge of the Alps, with little impact on South Tyrol.
The weather:
Initially, apart from localised patches of high valley fog, the sun will shine widely. As the day progresses, a few clouds may accumulate on the main Alpine ridge, otherwise cumuli-form clouds will develop. Only single thunderstorm have to be expected in the afternoon. Foehn winds will blow in some valleys.
Saturday will also start sunny with a few high clouds. The clouds will increase in the afternoon and thunderstorms will become more frequent again. Similar conditions will prevail on Sunday with intermittent sunshine at first, but widespread rain showers and thunderstorms are to be expected in the second half of the day. Temperatures will drop slightly. Monday will continue to be changeable, with partly sunny conditions and a few showers and thunderstorms during the day. It will be cooler than recently. With strong northerly foehn winds, it will be quite sunny on Tuesday, especially in the south.
