General situation:
A strong high-pressure system is affecting the weather across the entire Alpine region and beyond.
The weather:
It will be very sunny to start with, with any remaining morning cloud clearing quickly. In the afternoon, a few cumulus clouds will form again, so localised thunderstorms cannot be entirely ruled out, although it will often remain dry.
On Wednesday, it will remain sunny and hot, with the likelihood of thunderstorms continuing to decrease. On Thursday, too, the sun will shine with a few high clouds, and it will remain mostly dry. On Friday, the sunny and hot weather will continue. Saturday will also bring no significant change, with plenty of sunshine and temperatures remaining above average.
